About “Sustainable Seafood”

Sustainable seafood is seafood that is either caught or farmed in ways that consider the long-term vitality of harvested species and the well-being of the oceans. Good fishing and farming methods matter when it comes to maintaining the balance in the oceans.

The Sustainable Seafood Movement is an initiative born through the realization that the marine ecosystems of the world were being overexploited and destroyed. The movement aims to help the public to make informed choices, potentially contributing to the conservation of marine biodiversity.
